Adeoba Foundation is a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of the people in Owu Communities. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to live a dignified and fulfilling life, regardless of their background, circumstances, or challenges.

We are driven by our vision of a prosperous and harmonious community, where people have access to quality education, healthcare, water, and economic opportunities. We are also passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment for the vulnerable and marginalized groups in our society, such as domestic abuse victims, widows and widowers, and the mentally ill.

To achieve our vision, we have developed a multifaceted approach that addresses the various needs and aspirations of the community. Our programs and initiatives are designed to foster growth and enhance the quality of life for all residents.

Profile of Otunba Jerry Olukayode Bamgbade

Ọtúnba Jerry Olukayode Bamgbade is an experienced technology and cybersecurity executive who provides comprehensive business leadership, strategic management solutions, and advisory services to US Fortune 500, Global 1000, and high-growth enterprises. He is a thought leader and practice leader in managing cross-functional teams across multiple industries. With a strong strategic mindset and relationship-building skills, he has successfully developed C-level sponsorships and partnerships that have generated multi-million-dollar businesses. His core capabilities lie in Solutions formulation and integration, Advisory, Strategy, Change, Process, and Technology analytics. As a technology executive, he has a proven track record of aligning business objectives to deliver innovative solutions and optimize performance and profitability for senior management.

Ọtúnba Bamgbade has served as a senior consultant on numerous US government and commercial projects and programs, leveraging his expertise in information and cybersecurity technology. He understands how technology advancements can strategically drive value in a constantly evolving business and mission landscape. His broad experience spans Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk and Compliance solutions, Cloud, Application Development, Infrastructure Services, Mobile Platforms and Applications, social media, and Big Data Analytics.

Throughout his career, Ọtúnba Bamgbade has held various roles at organizations, companies, and government projects and programs. He served as a Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Catholic Relief Services, a global non-profit organization, as well as Director and Program Chief Technology Officer at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), and Managing Partner at Red Castle Corporation, among others. Currently, he holds a position as a Principal at Verizon Inc., a major telecommunications company in the United States.

Ọtúnba Bamgbade holds an MBA from Colorado State University College of Business, an M.Sc. in Technology Systems Management from the University of Maryland University College, and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University. Additionally, he holds multiple industry professional certificates and has received several professional honors and recognitions.

Outside of his professional career, Ọtúnba Bamgbade served as a board member of Adonai Partners, a non-profit organization focused on humanitarian initiatives in Africa. He enjoys mentoring young professionals and engages in volunteering in community development initiatives. In 2019, he was honored with the chieftaincy title of Ọtúnba Mayegun of Osogbo, Osun State, by HRM Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, the Ataoja of Osogbo. In 2023, he was honored with the chieftaincy title of Ààrẹ Àgo of Ìjàyè Kurunmi in Abẹ́òkúta. He also went through the investiture for the high honor of a chieftaincy title as the Asiwaju Bobajiro of Òwu Kingdom, Abeokuta, by Kabiyesi Oba (Dr.) Saka Adelola Matemilola, the Olowu of Owu kingdom, Abeokuta.

Prince Engr. Oladipo Famuyiwa, MBA

An Owu Prince from Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

He is A Leading Civil Engineer, Builder and Developer, Manager with over 38 years of active Real Estate Engineering and Development, Sales, Management in all facets of the real estate industry both in Residential and Commercial Real Estate since graduating from college. Having worked and schooled in different continents of the world, he is able to understand the reason to succeed in life and the ability to discern complex problems through adequate evaluation, analysis of project at hand in order to proffer a solution. His educational back ground with an undergraduate in Structural and Civil Engineering and MBA in Real Estate and Financial Management from University of Maryland, College Park allows him to look at things from three dimensional perspectives. Some of the leading project developments in Nigeria he was involved with before leaving Nigeria was as the t Engineer and Manager of the Ikota and Dolphin Housing Projects here on the Island in the 80’s, VGC Housing Schemes for HFP Engineering Company, and also worked in the Banking and Financial organization in the 80’s for a company called Cosmopolitan Bancshares Ltd (CosmoCorp) as the company Assistant Vice President before finally departing Nigeria for Greener opportunities to the United States of America in the November of 1989.

He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Leeds Realty, Inc., USA, of a can-do real estate brokerage, management, development, and construction engineering management company with presence in Four states (Maryland, Pennsylvania, Commonwealth of Virginia), North Carolina and in the District of Columbia in the United States of America. The company uses modern and engineering methodologies in evaluating and analyzing real estate opportunities for individual investors and corporate real estate holders in order to maximize shareholders wealth. Profile of Kabiyesi Olowu of Owu

His Royal Majesty, Professor Saka Adelola MATEMILOLA, PhD, FNSE, Oluyalo Otileta VII, is the 14th Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Abeokuta.

Prior to ascending the throne as Olowu, Kabiyesi was an accomplished engineer, scholar and philanthropist. He obtained his first degree in Mechanical Engineering, with First-Class Honours from the University of Ibadan. He also holds an MSc. Degree from the same University. He has PhD in Applied Mechanics from University of Cambridge, UK.

His professional career straddles both academia and industry. He started his working career as a Mechanical Engineer at the Oyo State Ministry of Works & Transport, in Ibadan. He worked briefly as lecturer at the University of Ibadan, and as Reservoir Engineer at Mobil Nigeria Unlimited, Lagos. He was also a lecturer at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. After his PhD studies, he worked as Research Associate at Cambridge University, before moving to University of Southampton University, UK, as Senior Research Fellow. Thereafter, he returned to Nigeria to join the petroleum industry. He spent a considerable part of his working career with Shell Development Company and subsequently with FIRST Exploration & Production Company.

Kabiyesi is an active academia and has authored over 30 technical publications, mostly in renowned international journals. He was a visiting scholar at the Centre of Excellence in Geosciences and Petroleum Engineering (CoE), University of Benin and at the institute of Petroleum Studies (IPS), University of Port Harcourt. He was also a visiting Associate Professor at African University of Science and Technology, Abuja, and an adjunct faculty at the Department of Petroleum Engineering, University of Ibadan. He is a Distinguished Member of Society of Petroleum Engineers, and on the Trustee Board of Society of Petroleum Engineers, Nigeria Council. He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.

Kabiyesi is an ardent believer in community based social and economic development. He has a lifetime dedication to improving the wellbeing of his people, especially now that he has taken on the role of a full time public servant. He has initiated various major projects that are designed to raise the standard of education in his communities. He has also been championing wide-ranging activities that have been providing and enhancing technical and entrepreneurial skills of his people. He has also evolved projects to expand, deepen and make primary healthcare services more effective in his communities. As part of his desire to empower his people, he has also been providing work equipment, as well as micro-finance facilities to small scale businesses.
